Volleyball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Buckingham Charter + How To Watch

Buckingham Charter had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Venture Academy on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Knights not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buckingham Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justice Wright, who had six kills and five aces. Wright has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessica Taylor, who had 12 kills.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Buckingham Charter, bringing their record up to 7-2. As for Venture Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Buckingham Charter is taking a road trip to challenge John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Venture Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Weston Ranch on the 4th.
