Volleyball Recap: Kiana's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Kiana hadn't done well against Buckland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Lynx walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sissauni. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lynx as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Kiana easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-15.

The victory got Kiana back to even at 8-8. As for Buckland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Buckland has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Napaaqtugmiut on the 15th. Hopefully Kiana paid attention to the Sissauni's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Sissauni at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
