If St. Agnes Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. John XXIII, they should've done a better job of containing Zoe Ramirez. The Lions blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Ramirez, who had 13 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.

St. John XXIII's record is now 11-16. As for St. Agnes Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. John XXIII will square off against rival Village at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Agnes Academy is set to take on their familiar foe St. Pius X at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
