Baseball Recap: Clopton Hawks vs. Palmyra Panthers
Clopton couldn't beat Palmyra on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Hawks fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7.
Peter Daskalakis was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
