Centennial starts season with victory at home

The Centennial Knights gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past Alpharetta 2-1. For Centennial, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 defeat Alpharetta walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2021.

Centennial was led to victory by the tag-team duo of Samer Layous and David Ayite-Kangni, who scored both of Centennial's goals.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 victory vs. Stone Mountain on the 8th. Alpharetta has also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 win against Denmark on the 8th.
