Softball Recap: Sacramento Comes Up Short

After flying high against Florin last Tuesday, Sacramento came back down to earth. The Sacramento Dragons came up short against the Pioneer Patriots on Wednesday, falling 21-0.

Sacramento now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pioneer, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacramento will head out to challenge Vacaville at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Pioneer, they will take on Rodriguez at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Pioneer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
