Recap: Westgate Christian Eagles vs. Temple Christian Academy Warriors
This season hasn't been kind to the Westgate Christian Eagles, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a 80-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of Temple Christian Academy on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Westgate Christian in their matchups with Temple Christian Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Leading Temple Christian Academy to victory were Ethan Moses and Jeramy Trangmar. Moses scored 26 points along with six rebounds, while Trangmar scored 29 points along with nine assists and five rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Trangmar has scored at least 25% of Temple Christian Academy's points. Eli Holbrook was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 11 rebounds.
Westgate Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Temple Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
