Volleyball Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short

Sierra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Roseville Tigers. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Hannah Threet paced Sierra's offense, picking up four kills. Threet got some help from Gurjaap Kaur and her seven assists.

Sierra's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Roseville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Sierra has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Turlock on the 11th. As for Roseville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Manteca on the 11th.
