Softball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

After flying high against Monroe County last Tuesday, Westmoreland came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trousdale County Yellowjackets on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Trousdale County, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-1.

As of now, neither Westmoreland nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
