Baseball Recap: Plumstead Christian Wins Going Away Against Collegium Charter

Plumstead Christian got themselves on the board against Collegium Charter on Monday, but Collegium Charter never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Cougar. Plumstead Christian hasn't had any issues with Collegium Charter recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Declan Glass made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Glass was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Santi Torres was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Michael Dear was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Plumstead Christian's record now sits at 3-0. As for Collegium Charter, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plumstead Christian will square off against Dock Mennonite at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Dock Mennonite will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Plumstead Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Collegium Charter, they will welcome Valley Forge Military Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
