Volleyball Recap: Montpelier Takes a Loss

Montpelier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Tinora Rams, falling 3-0. If the Locomotives were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.

Zoe Uribes paced Montpelier's offense, picking up five kills. Uribes got some help from Bella Ramos and her ten assists.

Montpelier's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Tinora, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home.

Montpelier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tinora, they will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty Center at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
