Meanwhile, Monroe Catholic faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Monroe Catholic took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bettye Davis East Anchorage. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost four in a row.

Monroe Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Grace Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-4.
