Football Game Recap: Wayne County vs. Collinwood

If Wayne County was riding high off their 44-8 takedown of Perry County last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Wayne County didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 26-20 to Collinwood on Friday. The Wildcats might have entered gameday a little too confident, resting on the laurels of their 34-0 win against Collinwood when they last met October of last year.

Wayne County's defeat pushes them down to 2-8. The win got Collinwood back to even at 5-5.

Wayne County does not have any more games currently scheduled. As for Collinwood, they will go up against Huntland at 7 p.m. ET next week. The Trojans will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
