Softball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ottoville last Wednesday, Upper Scioto Valley came back down to earth. The Rams took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Baltimore Tigers on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Upper Scioto Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for North Baltimore, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Scioto Valley will challenge Waynesfield-Goshen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Baltimore, they will square off against McComb at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
