Softball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the North Penn-Liberty Mountie, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 17-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for North Penn-Liberty, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Canton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-1 loss against Liberty on the 14th. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will head out on the road to challenge Wyalusing Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
