Soccer Recap: West Broward Takes a Loss

After flying high against McArthur back in December of 2024, West Broward came back down to earth. The West Broward Bobcats lost 3-0 to the South Plantation Paladins on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while the Paladins are ranked 137th).

West Broward's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for South Plantation, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season.

West Broward wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Western on the 13th. As for South Plantation, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Cooper City on the 13th.
