Football Recap: Richards Starts Season with Victory Against Dusable/Tilden/Air Force Academy

Richards gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy a 12-0 shutout.

Ryan Pack-Boykin was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 73 yards and one score on only nine carries.

Another reason for the win was Richards' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leading the way was Juelz Baker with two.

Coming up, Richards will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Julian at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for DuSable/Tilden/Air Force Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodlawn at 9:30 a.m. on September 20.
