Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Maine South walked away with it. They came out on top against the Evanston Wildkits by a score of 7-0 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Hawks as they're now sitting on seven straight.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Maine South's defense and their five sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Reese Froeschle.

Maine South's victory bumped their record up to 23-3. As for Evanston, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-4 record.

Looking ahead, Maine South will face off against Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Evanston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
