Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Wins Going Away Against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial

Heritage Christian's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Heritage Christian never let Indianapolis Scecina Memorial on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 26-24.

Ben Bauer paced Heritage Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bauer got some help from Ethan Gorny and his 18 assists. Ezra King controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Heritage Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Indianapolis Scecina Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Heritage Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Guerin Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial will take on rival Beech Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
