It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodmore had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lakota Raiders as they made off with a 15-2 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Woodmore and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Lakota, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Woodmore and Lakota are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Wildcats will take on Gibsonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Woodmore's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Bears have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Lakota, they will challenge St. Joseph Central Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
