Basketball Recap: Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 56-20 loss at the hands of the Thales Academy Apex Titans. The Lion were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Claire Schutte, who posted two points and 21 rebounds. Belle Heinrich was another key player, putting up seven points.
