Tehachapi had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Valley Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-1 victory on October 1st.

While Tehachapi won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11, 27-25.

Their offense was headlined by Lilyana Bundt and Pristine Perkins, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Lola Napier and her 13 assists. Josey Brooks controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Golden Valley lost, don't look at Sofia Amaya. Despite the final result, she had 17 digs and one assist.

Tehachapi's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Golden Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-18-1 record this season.
