A game against Pospect ends in an unbelievable way.

The Illinois high school season opened on Friday, and it didn't take long for the Land of Lincoln to produce a memorable finish.

Thanks to some clutch touchdown catches and a perfectly executed onside kick, Jacobs (Algonquin, Ill.) overcame a 10-point deficit with under two minutes to play to stun Prospect (Mt. Prospect, Ill.), 26-24.

After Prospect scored with 2:46 left to take a 24-14 lead, Jacobs narrowed the gap following a touchdown pass by Chris Katrenick, one of the state's top quarterback recruits.

Jacobs then beautifully executed an onside kick, setting up an incredible game-winning catch by Nathan Meland with 24 seconds remaining.

"Now the guys all believe and we'll never give up," Katrenick told the Northwest Herald. "There are 48 minutes to play; it was just a great team win."
