Baseball Recap: South Panola Takes a Loss

South Panola was the 5-1 winner over Grenada when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. South Panola fell 8-3 to Grenada on Friday.

South Panola's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Grenada, their record now sits at 11-7.

When South Panola and Grenada next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South Panola will try to stop DeSoto Central's five-game winning streak when they meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Grenada will challenge Kosciusko and their six-game winning streak at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Grenada 3.9, Kosciusko 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
