Andover entered their tilt with Dracut on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Middies. With that victory, the Golden Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Andover let Will Norris and Sean Napolitano run wild. Norris went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Napolitano went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Will Dever also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Andover kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.4.

Andover's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Dracut, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Andover and Dracut will both be playing Haverhill the next time they take the field. The Golden Warriors will host the Hillies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Middies will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
