Monticello has gone 8-2 against Cornwall Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Monticello Panthers will hit the road for the first time this season to take on the Cornwall Central Dragons at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Monday, Monticello was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 63-59 to Goshen Central.

Meanwhile, Cornwall Central had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. The matchup between them and Pine Bush didn't end well, with Cornwall Central falling 74-58.

Monticello won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February, slipping by Cornwall Central 60-59. Does Monticello have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cornwall Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
