Basketball Game Preview: Hall Red Devils vs. Princeton Tigers

The Hall Red Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Princeton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Hall is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since January 6th on Monday. They had just enough and edged Illinois Valley Central out 43-40.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Princeton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Seneca 56-53.

Princeton pushed their record up to 16-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Hall, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Hall came out on top in a nail-biter against Princeton in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 59-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
