New Lothrop came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bath Fighting Bees by a score of 43-30. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Fighting Bees are ranked 245th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

New Lothrop's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Bath, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

As of now, neither New Lothrop nor Bath have any future games scheduled.
