Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. Cypress Park Tigers
After flying high against the Brazosport Exporters on Saturday, the MacArthur Generals came back down to earth. MacArthur ended up on the wrong side of a rough 62-42 walloping at the hands of Cypress Park on Tuesday. MacArthur has struggled against Cypress Park recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Cypress Park got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Wine out in front who scored 9 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Terrell Pierre, who scored 9 points.
MacArthur's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Cypress Park, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
MacArthur will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Cypress Park, they will face off against Waxahachie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Waxahachie presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cypress Park in Texas (Waxahachie is ranked 213th, while Cypress Park is ranked 508th).
