With a playoff win on the line, NorthWood rose to the challenge on Monday. Everything went their way against the West Noble Chargers as they made off with a 16-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Ana Beachy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Beachy was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Victoria Vega was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Payton Sears, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
