Basketball Recap: Dr. Krop Takes a Loss

Dr. Krop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt an 88-47 defeat at the hands of Sports Leadership & Management. The Lightning were down 77-41 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Ethan Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Sports Leadership & Management, going 11 of 13 on his way to 28 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Taylor's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Jayden Vigo was another key player, going 7 for 13 en route to 18 points.

Dr. Krop's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will host Coral Reef at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coral Reef will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Dr. Krop surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Mater Academy Charter at 7:30 p.m. Sports Leadership & Management has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three matchups.
