New York School for the Deaf lost against Non Varsity Opponent last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The New York School for the Deaf Golden Tornadoes were dealt a 74-28 defeat at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. The Golden Tornadoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-21.

Despite the loss, New York School for the Deaf saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Arturo Dominguez-Fermin posted 22 points. That was a full 78.6% of New York School for the Deaf's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

New York School for the Deaf has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
