Cheshire will take on a Falcons team in a cheerful holiday mood after the team's game against Warde on Thanksgiving. Ludlowe took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 35-2 victory over the Mustangs. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Liam Bond had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 170 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Cole Stotler also helped out with an impressive 89 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ludlowe was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 251 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Cheshire faced Southington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams were beaten by the Blue Knights 31-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Ludlowe's record is now 7-3. As for Cheshire, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.
