Baseball Recap: Blacksburg Comes Up Short

Blacksburg lost against Woodruff two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Blacksburg came up short against Woodruff, falling 11-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Blacksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Woodruff, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Coming up, Blacksburg will square off against Chesnee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blacksburg will need to watch out since Chesnee has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Woodruff, they will challenge Landrum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
