Basketball Recap: Simms Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Simms can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 33-32 to the North Toole County Refiners. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Refiners earlier this season, when they won 48-45.

This is the second loss in a row for Simms and nudges their season record down to 5-10. As for North Toole County, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Simms does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Toole County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 44-33 loss against Heart Butte on the 22nd.
