Riverside had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Trinity Christian Academy Lions with a sharp 12-2 win on Friday. The Panthers have beaten the Lions the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Trinity Christian Academy is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Riverside Panthers take on Camden Central Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middleton at 5:00 p.m. on March 17th.
