Volleyball Recap: Proctor Takes a Loss

Proctor lost against Chittenango back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Proctor Raiders fell just short of the Chittenango Bears by a score of 3-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Proctor started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 17-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-10.

Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chittenango, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Proctor will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rome Free Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Chittenango, they will challenge Herkimer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
