Basketball Recap: Triway Takes a Loss

After flying high against Manchester last Monday, Triway came back down to earth. The Triway Titans were beaten by the Northwest Indians 50-16 on Saturday. The match marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Triway's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northwest, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Triway will finish 2024 at home by hosting Fredericktown at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Triway has won 12 straight at home dating back to last season, while Fredericktown won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Northwest will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Mogadore at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
