Halon Rawlins of Nazareth (Brooklyn) is the 2024-25 New York MaxPreps Player of the Year. The 6-foot-6 senior guard led the Kingsmen to an 18-10 record.

For the season, Rawlins averaged 22.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.5 blocked shots per game. He shot 53 percent from inside the arc, 41 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line.

In a 68-56 victory over St. Peter's (Staten Island) on Jan. 5, Rawlins recorded a career-high 40 points to go along with seven rebounds and four assists.
