Lewis-Palmer was the 2-0 winner over Pueblo West when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Rangers fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Rangers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lewis-Palmer came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-23, 17-15.

Bridgette Bogenrief paced Lewis-Palmer's offense, picking up nine kills. Bogenrief got some help from Keira Lunn and her 12 assists. Cady Knight controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lewis-Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Pueblo West, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Lewis-Palmer will be playing at home against Rampart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pueblo West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Montrose on the 6th.
