Random Lake couldn't beat Cedar Grove-Belgium on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Rams fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 7-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Rockets: they've now lost three in a row.

Random Lake's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-3. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rockets beat Random Lake by a score of 3-1 on Friday.
