Minster had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Upper Scioto Valley Rams a 13-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Minster, bringing their record up to 21-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they moved to 9-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Minster nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
