If Northview Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Carter, they should've done a better job of containing Zion Oliver. The Carter Green Hornets put the hurt on the Northview Academy Cougars with a sharp 69-46 win on Saturday with plenty of help from Oliver, who went 14-for-22 to rack up 29 points and five boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last 19 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Lincoln Tummel, who posted six points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Carter's victory bumped their record up to 23-9. As for Northview Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-11.

Carter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-72 win against Fulton on the 25th. As for Northview Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 67-66 loss against Cocke County on the 25th.
