Football Recap: Ben Lippen Falcons vs. Trinity Collegiate Titans
Ben Lippen won against First Baptist School two weeks ago with 20 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Ben Lippen Falcons never let the Trinity Collegiate Titans onto the board and left with a 20-0 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Falcons just coasted through the last quarter.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ben Lippen's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kellen George and Austin Huff who racked up 4.5 sacks between them. Huff didn't just play on offense: he also picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles (3.0 for loss). Ben Lippen got some further help from Drake Porter: he made 18 total tackles.
The win made it two in a row for Ben Lippen and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Trinity Collegiate, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
