Soccer Game Preview: West Lincoln vs. Wesson

The West Lincoln Bears will head out to take on the Wesson Cobras at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

West Lincoln is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lawrence County just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Wesson had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tigers a 7-0 shutout. Considering Wesson have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 9-7-2. As for Wesson, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.
