Recap: Grant vs. River City
Grant was the 1-0 winner over River City when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Grant fell just short of River City by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Grant has lost by exactly a single goal.
Kevin Villegas Coronado and
Christopher Gonzalez did their best for Grant and scored.
Grant has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for River City, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grant will take on McClatchy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for River City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Laguna Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
