Colonial Heights was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-19.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Colonial Heights, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Petersburg might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Colonial Heights in their previous meeting back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Colonials' Amelia Howison, who had 11 aces.
