Basketball Recap: Mineral Wells Comes Up Short

Mineral Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 64-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1244th, while the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees are ranked 327th).

Mineral Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Stephenville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Mineral Wells will head out on the road to square off against Graham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephenville, they will take on Glen Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
