Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 3-13. They lost 3-0 to the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

As for West Liberty-Salem, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Among those leading the charge was Reagan Winters, who had nine digs and one assist.

Coming up, Northeastern will be playing at home against Ridgemont at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Golden Gophers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for West Liberty-Salem, they will head out on the road to square off against Mechanicsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
