The Miami-Yoder Buffaloes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 38-23 fall against Calhan. Miami-Yoder has struggled against Calhan recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Miami-Yoder still got an impressive performance from Kylie McKnight, who scored two points along with eight steals.

She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Kailey Peterson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.

Miami-Yoder dropped their record down to 5-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.5 points per game. As for Calhan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-9.

Miami-Yoder won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Colorado Springs School at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Miami-Yoder is facing Colorado Springs School at the right time seeing as Colorado Springs School is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Calhan, they will be playing at home against Rocky Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Calhan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
